In this beginner‑friendly session, Certified Master Food Preserver Chef Connor Flynn will walk you through the core methods of preserving food- canning, fermenting, dehydrating, freeze‑drying, freezing, and more, explaining how each one works and when to use them. As a dad and hands‑on preserving chef, Chef Connor will share how he realistically weaves these techniques into everyday family life, so you leave with practical skills, confidence, and ideas you can bring straight home to your homestead.

Join Certified Master Food Preserver Chef Connor Flynn for a cozy, hands-on sourdough class rooted in simple, homestead living. Perfect for beginners and seasoned bread lovers alike, this workshop brings you back to the basics of baking the old-fashioned way.
In this class, you’ll learn how to feed, care for, and maintain a strong, healthy sourdough starter while also walking through the essentials of mixing, stretch and folds, and letting your dough rise naturally. Along the way, you’ll explore traditional baking methods and techniques that you can easily use in your own home kitchen, and each participant will go home with their own sourdough starter to continue the journey.
